This exhibition showcases four iconic Ferraris from the collection of Don & Carol Murray and brings to light the spiritual connection between the love for the mechanical, technical and dangerous expressed by the Futurist art movement in Italy in the early 20th century.
The exhibition, which runs from November 21, 2016 through January 31, 2017, features a1950 Ferrari 166 Inter Berlinetta by Carrozzeria Touring,
a 1951 Ferrari 340 America Berlinetta also by Touring,
a 1956 Ferrari 250 GT Speciale by Carrozzeria Pinin Farina
and a 1963 Ferrari 400 Superamerica by Pininfarina.
Each of these cars has been paired with the image of a dynamic Futurist work by a master of the school, clearly conveying the ideals of the Futurists in the first three decades of the 1900s with the evocative and captivating products of the first decade and a half of Ferrari production.
