A brand new video reel of Donald Osborne’s work is now available on his YouTube channel
18 July, 2018 – Having just driven through 1,000 scenic miles of Oregon’s backroads, Donald Osborne and his own 1957 Alfa Romeo 1900 Super are sempre in viaggio, this time having participated in the 30th Annual Sports Car Market Anniversary Tour to benefit the Portland Art Museum. An official co-host of the tour along with Sports Car Market Editor and Publisher Keith Martin, Donald may be seen enjoying the good life of classic cars as well as the natural beauty of Oregon by anyone following him on Instagram @osbornedonald. The 30th Anniversary tour started on Sunday the 8th with a public display of all participating cars as part of the museum’s “The Shape of Speed: Streamlined Automobiles and Motorcycles, 1930-1942” exhibit curated by Ken Gross, where “more than 5,000 people” came to see the action and cars on display, reported Keith Martin.
In culmination of the tour, Donald Osborne returned as emcee of the annual Forest Grove Concours d’Elegance in Portland on July 14th, which fittingly celebrated the passion of Alfa Romeo this year, otherwise known as Donald’s favorite marque. Many award-winning and significant pre- and post-war Alfa Romeo along with the participating cars of Sports Car Market’s 30th Anniversary Tour, including Donald’s 1900 Super, were displayed and participated in the Concours.
