A winning competition heritage can often result in memorable touring cars for going out on the town. The companies belonging to the cars selected for “From the Racetrack to the Opera” did it best, according to Curator Donald Osborne who created the exhibition for the Audrain Automobile Museum, which ran August 15 – November 15, 2020. “From the Racetrack to the Opera” featured a wide variety of stunning machinery including the 1927 Isotta Fraschini 8A S Fleetwood, a 1961 OSCA 1600 GT, the 1952 OSCA MT4 LM #1120 Vignale Berlinetta, a 1955 Jaguar D-Type, a 1997 Ferrari F310B, the 1930 Duesenberg ‘Fred Frame’ Special, a 1951 Delahaye 135M Cabriolet, a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air and a 1964 Alfa Romeo TZ-1, to name a just a select few.
